Where Does This Apply?
The Fire Safety Order applies to:
- All workplaces and commercial buildings.
- Non-domestic parts of multi-occupied residential buildings – this includes those areas clarified by the Fire Safety Act.
This includes:
- Balconies.
- Structures.
- External walls.
- Flat front door.
SMÖØ¿Ú has a statutory responsibility to enforce the RR(FS)O 2005 with the objective of eliminating or reducing the risk of fire as far as reasonably practicable.
